Claudia Eger is Associate Professor of Business Ethics and Sustainability at the Department of Business Humanities and Law, Copenhagen Business School. Her research centers upon the challenges and complexities of business in society and the ways in which these interrelate with wider questions about ethics, sustainability, and gender. Her work builds on a core concern for various forms of inequality, aiming for both a socially and culturally embedded understanding of inequality and the development of theory that captures and is responsive to these nuances. Her empirical research in different Middle Eastern and African countries addresses concerns of relevance to international organizations and policy makers, striving to inform gender and development strategies. Claudia is on the editorial review board of Business Ethics Quarterly.
