Savi Hanning-Brown (she/her) is a multimedia artist and writer, who currently resides on the unceded territories of the Lekwungen, WSÁNEĆ and Coast Salish people. She began her post-secondary studies at Selkirk College, where she is grateful to have participated in a transformative creative writing program. Savi holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria, and is currently in the process of pursuing an MFA in writing. She is a program facilitator for Victoria Queer Skate, a group that organizes events and meet-ups for non-traditional skateboarders and their allies. She is passionate about soil health, poetry, and exchanging stories by a fire. Her favourite body of water is a river, and you will often find her near one.
